Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) is a self disciplining, non-profit and nationwide organization of private medical colleges of Bangladesh. It was established under Company Act, 1913 of Bangladesh and BPMCA started its activities in 2008 with License No 22/2008 issued by Ministry of Commerce, the Government of people’s Republic of Bangladesh to represent all the private medical colleges in Bangladesh in any stage and in any way. The Association was approved by Director of Trade Organization (DTO), Ministry of Commerce, the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) has been assessed BPMCA as Grade “A” Association. With an objective of development and up gradation of medical education and health services in Bangladesh as well as benefits of the members with a range of services and activities in empowering members to cope with the challenges of Third Industrial Revolution and help to achieve the goal SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) in health sector of the country.
Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) is the apex trade organization of all private medical colleges in Bangladesh. It has been playing a consultative and advisory role in safeguarding the interests of the private medical colleges in the country. BPMCA was established in 2008 as class ‘’A” category trade body under Trade Organization Act, 2022, the Companies Act, 1994 and with the license accorded by Ministry of Commerce, the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. BPMCA plays an integral role in the consultative and advisory capacity in formulation of medical education related policies of the government. Now BPMCA is representing as a platform of all 69 private medical colleges in the country those are approval by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
